Man beaten to death, set on fire

Police were on the scene on Friday night near 50th and South Talman.
  

July 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A man has died after being beaten and then set on fire.

Police were on the scene on Friday night near 50th and South Talman.

The man was found in the basement of a two flat there.

According to officials, the victim is the landlord.
