October 31, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- It's not a bad idea to go for a run before trick-or-treating.
Hundreds of people were up early on Halloween for the third annual Day of the Dead 5K run.
The "Dia de los Muertos" race took off from Ashland and 16th Street Saturday and wound through Pilsen.
Some participants even wore costumes. The event raises money for the cause UNO, which promotes the importance of sports and health to youngsters.
