Firefighter reunited with rescued baby

November 4, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A Chicago firefighter was reunited with an 18-month-old girl he rescued from a burning building.

Firefighter David Doyle and his colleagues ran into the apartment building on Wilcox near California October 6.

Doyle found Diamond Jones unconscious and carried her out to paramedics.

On Wednesday, Diamond and her mom visited firefighters and paramedics.

"To see her today in her mom's arms, it's an amazing thing, makes the job more worth it, we work with a great bunch of people," said David Doyle, Chicago firefighter.
