Comcast: 14K families enroll in Internet Essentials

Comcast says 14,000 Chicago families are enrolled in Internet Essentials, a program that provides low-income families with broadband internet service at home for $10 a month, a computer for $150 and access to online literacy materials.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel visited the Johnson School of Excellence on South Albany during Monday's announcement that Comcast was expanding the program.
