February 8, 2012 (WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah) (WLS) -- Workers at a Utah Mexican restaurant used a few spritzes of oven cleaner to fight off a bandit.
According to police in West Valley City, a man with a gun walked into the kitchen at El Calor Taqueria. He demanded money.
KSL reports there was a struggle and one restaurant worker sprayed the man in the face with the stinging cleaning chemical.
Officials say at least three of the employees sat on the guy until police arrived. He was booked in the Salt Lake County Jail.
