Are you traveling for the thanksgiving holiday? AAA says more Americans will be doing so this year.

It projects that about 38 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles over the long holiday weekend. That's a slight increase over last year.

Thirty-three million will travel by car, a 2 percent increase over a year ago.

However, the number of people flying over Thanksgiving will be down from last year at just over 2 million travelers.

Money concerns, reduced airline capacity, and new airline fees are some of the reasons.

AAA says just under 3 million people will travel by trains and buses.
