Google's driverless car costs $150,000

  

June 15, 2012 (WLS) -- Remember our story about Google's driverless car? Well don't put your order in just yet. It doesn't come cheap.

Google has been using driverless cars in Nevada recently. The company recently disclosed how much the car costs. The equipment alone costs about $150,000, which includes a laser radar system worth about $70,000. So don't expect to see any on U.S. roads anytime soon.
