Amazon cuts price of Kindle Fire HD

August 12, 2013 (WLS) -- Amazon cuts the price of the Kindle Fire.

After a $40 price reduction, the popular 7-inch tablet computer is now $160.

There is speculation an updated Kindle Fire is on the way.

For the past two years, Amazon has unveiled a new tablet during the month of September.
