October 8, 2013 (WLS) -- AT&T is teaming up with a technology company to help parents keep track of their children in crowded places.
Filip Technologies has developed a GPS and mobile-enabled watch that keeps children and their parents in communication.
AT&T has partnered with Filip to be the device's network provider and retailer. The colorful watches are connected to an app on a parent's phone and can make and receive calls to that parent's phone.
Pricing and service plans are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
