AT&T best overall for Chicago android users, study says

October 14, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- AT&T edged out Verizon for overall performance in the Chicago area, android users said in a study by Rootmetrics.

The Seattle-based company said it's the first time AT&T had the highest combined score. The carrier also rated best for data and texting, and tied with Verizon for call performance.

Rootmetrics conducted the local testing for one week in mid-September on android based phones.
