Jackie Chan Disrupts Hong Kong Concert

Wednesday, July 12, 2006

Jackie Chan was heckled by an audience in Hong Kong last night, as he reportedly tried to steal the show from a Taiwanese singer.

A Hong Kong newspaper reports that the action star jumped on stage and demanded a duet with singer Jonathan Lee. He then tried to conduct the band but stopped and restarted the music several times.

The report says that as the awkward interruption dragged on, audience members started to heckle Chan who replied with an insult.

Chan is quoted as saying on stage that he was drunk. A spokesman says he hadn't seen Chan since the alleged incident.
