What's inside the mysterious Oprah box?

  

Sept. 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Fans are excited for Oprah's upcoming taping on Michigan Avenue, and now the buzz is growing over a mysterious box.

The box is in a window at Illinois and Michigan Avenue, but exactly what's inside that box won't be revealed until the taping Tuesday.

People walking on Michigan Saturday didn't necessarily know the window display was from Oprah, but once ABC7 Chicago told them, some had their own ideas about the box's contents.

"I wouldn't think it's a car. Maybe a diamond, jewelry...definitely," one person said.

"It's probably a key to something sacred," said another.

"A book or something&has to be some kind of flashy gift...or something that gives you knowledge," another person said.

In addition to finding out what's in the box, both Jennifer Hudson and the Black Eyed Peas are scheduled to appear on the season premier.

Police will shut down Michigan Avenue between Wacker and Ohio from early Monday morning until Wednesday morning. The taping is set for Tuesday at 5 p.m.
