August 5, 2012 (WLS) -- Sunday marked a somber anniversary as Marilyn Monroe was found dead at her home 50 years ago.
The 36-year-old died from an apparent overdose of sleeping pills.
She starred in such movies as Seven Year Itch and Some Like It Hot.
