March 15, 2013 (NEW YORK) (WLS) -- Matt Lauer could be the next host of Jeopardy!
The New York Post reports that Lauer could soon be leaving his hosting duties on the Today show.
The paper reports Lauer could then take over for current Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek.
Trebek is expected to leave the popular quiz show around 2016, the paper reports.
