'Transformers 4' shooting in Chicago

If you like watching movies being made, you're going to get a chance to see something special later this week.

Off and on this summer, people have seen filmmakers shooting scenes for "Transformers: Age of Extinction" in Chicago.

There will be some real action Friday evening through Monday morning around the 111 South Wacker Drive building.

The movie makers say there will be live stunts and pyrotechnics.

Paramount Pictures will be fiilming this weekend on Monroe from Canal to Wells, Madison from Canal to Franklin, and Franklin from Madison to Adams, including low-elevation flights in the vicinity of 200 W. Monroe and 300 E. Wacker, and explosions, simulated fire and smoke effects. Pedestrian traffic will be restricted. Through Sept. 30.
