Chicago's Cindy Crawford admits to plastic surgery

August 24, 2006 (WLS) -- A supermodel from Illinois who made millions for her looks is now admitting to years of plastic surgery.

Cindy Crawford tells the U.K.'s 'Daily Mail' she's been using a cosmetic surgeon for the past 11 years.

It had always been assumed the Dekalb native made her millions with her natural looks, but Crawford admitted to the newspaper that she started to get extra help with her looks at the age of 29.

Crawford, who is now 40 years old, says she counts on vitamin injections, botox and collagen to restore her skin's elasticity.
