Fire rips through Chicago church

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Firefighters worked through the bitter cold Friday morning to control a big blaze in an old church on the city's West Side.

The church, located at 554 North LeClaire, has a wood frame and is at least 100 years old.

There are no reports of any injuries but at one point firefighters were told to back-off because of dangerous conditions.
