A reporter following the story of the Illinois-shaped cornflake that sold on eBay for $1,350 has said he saw something else when looking at the flake.

"Here's an eye. Here's a nose," KXAN reporter Jim Swift said while looking at the Cornflake. "Here's a mouth. Here's hair flowing down. Here's hands in prayer. I think I see the Virgin Mary looking heavenward, in prayer."

"It looks an awful lot like a cornflake to me. I see the Virgin cornflake. That's what I see," said Monty Kerr, who bought the cornflake along with one other man.

The cornflake joins the rest of the men's odd collection of memorabilia, including the hat Jack Ruby wore when he killed Lee Harvey Oswald and Marilyn Monroe's day book.
