CHICAGO (WLS) -- Labor Day is the last day to enjoy Buckingham Fountain this year.
The Chicago landmark closes Tuesday, about two months earlier than last year.
Crews will begin restoration work on the 81-year-old fountain.
The goal is to complete the project by April 1 when members of the International Olympic Committee are scheduled to visit Chicago.
