Thieves crash car into Chicago shoe store

  

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thieves used a stolen car to break into an athletic store on Chicago's West Side.

It happened at about 6 a.m. Wednesday at the Foot Locker store on West Roosevelt. Two men apparently used the vehicle to crash through the store and then grab merchandise. A witness told detectives the men then ran from the scene with their hands full.

The stolen car was left there. No one was in the store at the time.
