Possible admission increase at Field Museum

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Park District Board is considering an admission increase for the Field Museum.

Museum officials say they need the money due to an increase in expenses, reductions in government funding and the economy.

If approved admission could go up by $1 starting the beginning of next year. Right now general regular admission for adults costs $14.
