53-year-old teacher accused of molestation

January 31, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A suburban grade school teacher has been charged with sexually molesting a student.

Ronald Vos, 53, of Buffalo Grove, appeared for a bail hearing Saturday and was released on a $100,000 bond.

Vos is a computer teacher at Macarthur Middle School in Prospect Heights.

The victim was reportedly assaulted from age 13 to 15.

Vos was arrested at his home Friday after an investigation prompted by a tip from the Department of Children and Family Services.

Under conditions of the bond, Vos is not allowed to go near any children.
