February 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A familiar sign along the Kennedy Expressway gets a face-lift.
Participants in the Chicago Marathon are depicted on murals painted on the side of a building just south of Armitage. No, Bank of America, which owns the space, is commissioning a painting to support Chicago's Olympic bid.
Artists are already at work. They are expected to complete the new mural by the end of March.
A site evaluation team for the International Olympic Committee will visit soon after the mural is completed.
