April 8, 2009 (WLS) -- There was a big honor for the CTA Wednesday morning.
The Chicago Transit Authority is named the most improved metro at an annual awards ceremony.
The second annual Metro Awards were held in London March 31.
The CTA says it took the award based on its improvement in service, increased ridership levels and overall improvement in the system.
