Computers can do almost anything these days, even become musical instruments.

The Princeton Laptop Orchestra performed on Thursday night at Chicago's Newberry Library.

The eclectic group of musicians is made up of seven laptopists. They manipulate computer generated tones with voice recordings and other sounds.

The group first booted up at Princeton University in 2005.

Their one drawback to high-tech ensembles --- the laptops can crash.
