April 24, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- The folks who give out the Emmys gave ABC7's Jerry Taft the prestigious Silver Circle award on Friday night.
The Silver Circle is awarded by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Jerry had many friends in the audience.
"I've seen a lot of old friends, old faces, and I do mean old," said Jerry.
Winners have at least 25 years of service, and have made outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism.
