US Olympic Committee gets high level help

The US Olympic Committee is turning to a former White House press secretary to get the organization back on message.

Former Bush Administration spokesman Ari Fleischer will become a communications consultant to the USOC after months of turmoil in its leadership ranks. Fleischer is expected to advise the US Olympic Committee on its communications strategy, rather than play a direct role in speaking for the organization or on behalf of Chicago's Olympic bid.

The International Olympic Committee will vote on the 2016 host city in early October.
