Man allegedly attempts to lure children

October 13, 2009 (WLS) -- Police in the southwest suburbs are looking for a man who attempted to lure a group of boys and followed them in his vehicle.

Five boys, ages 10 through 12, tell police in Oak Lawn that a man approached them last Friday afternoon along West Shore Drive.

When the boys tried to walk away he got into an SUV that was driven by a woman and followed them. The boys were able to get away and call police.

Oak Lawn police released a sketch of the man. They say he may have been driving a red ford explorer.
