October 21, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Emergency crews pulled a trapped man to safety out of a manhole in Palos Heights, Ill.
Firefighters responded to the rescue on Route 83 at Old Oak Road around 11:30 a.m. His condition is not known.
Officials have not said why the man was in the manhole.
