A man from Jordan who was arrested at O'Hare Airport Thursday night was released from custody.

Ismail Alqa-Wasmi was wanted on a felony warrant in Minnesota for making terroristic threats. He allegedly threatened his neighbor in Richfield, Minnesota, and then failed to appear for a court date.

Under Minnesota laws, a person can be charged with terroristic threats if he threatens to commit any crime of violence.

A cook county circuit court judge dismissed the warrant after Minnesota officials declined to seek his extradition.
