October 23, 2009 (WLS) -- Two south suburban men are indicted on charges in connection with an off-shore sports betting ring.
Robert Rassmussen, 42, of Tinley Park and John Bowling, 60, of Orland Park are in custody.
Prosecutors say the ring was centered in New York where the two men and 28 other people were charged this week.
Investigators say the operation took in about $20 million in bets each month.
