October 31, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Floodwaters from Friday's storm may have helped form a huge geyser in the south suburbs.
The geyser startled drivers on The Tri-State Tollway Saturday morning. It formed overnight next to the Lincoln Oasis in South Holland.
Water from the geyser covered the nearby highway.
The sight stopped some people in their tracks.
"A fountain of water 60-70 feet tall, shooting out over four lanes of traffic," said Ryan Yates, witness.
The geyser -- which has stopped -- did not lead to any lane closures or accidents on the Tri-State.
