Magic Johnson talks to Chicago kids

  

November 3, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- One of the greatest players in professional basketball gave an inspirational message on Tuesday night.

Former Lakers player Earvin "Magic" Johnson was in Chicago speaking with children in the city's After School Matters Program.

Johnson reminded the teens about the value of hard work to achieve success in pursuing their dreams.

"Sometimes you have to get up off the video games to work on your craft but trust me if you put the time in you could be awesome and great at the field that you chose," said Earvin "Magic" Johnson.

Some kids were lucky enough to win prizes autographed by Johnson.
