Missing Chicago boy found safe

  

November 15, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Chicago police say a missing 9-year-old boy has been found. John Lindsey, 9, had been missing since Saturday afternoon. He was found Sunday at his grandmother's house.

Chicago police had issued an alert for Lindsey Sunday after he was was reported missing from the 7600-block of south Essex Avenue in the city's South Shore neighborhood.

Relatives told ABC7 the boy apparently got into an argument with his sisters, put on his shoes and left. Family members said he had run away before, but this was the first time he stayed away overnight.
