Chicago loses another trade show

  

November 20, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Another event is leaving Chicago because of the high cost of doing business at McCormick Place.

After 48 years in Chicago, the World of Wheels is moving to the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

The organizers rising costs are a major factor in the decision, but they are happy to stay in the Chicago area.

Two trade large shows recently announced they are leaving Chicago because of high costs at McCormick Place.
