A Chicago man was arrested after allegedly planting what appeared to be explosive devices outside two prominent corporate buildings downtown on three occasions.

Roosevelt Billups, 42, of the 100-block of North Francisco Ave was charged with three counts of disorderly conduct as well as possession of a controlled substance.

Sources tell ABC7 that the buildings involved were the Boeing and Prudential buildings and that the explosives were authentic looking but were fakes.

Billups will appear in bond court on November 21.
