Emmanuel Lodge passes out supplies

December 24, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A group of Chicago residents reached out to help some of the city's homeless Thursday morning.

Members of the Emmanuel Lodge on the city's South Side passed out blankets, scarves, hats and food to some of those in need who live on Lower Wacker Drive.

They also distributed packages of other supplies that help the homeless make it through the winter.
