Obama, Common team up for Chicago rally

  

October 27, 2010 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- President Barack Obama is planning a big rally this weekend in Hyde Park to fire up Democrats before Election Day.

Obama is expected to get some help from Chicago's own hip-hop artist Common.

Campaign officials say Common will perform at the 'Moving America Forward' rally Saturday at the Midway Plaisance Park, located at 1130 Midway Plaisance North, near the University of Chicago campus.

The evening event is free. Gates to the rally open at 4:30 p.m.
