ABC7's Roz Varon helps seniors with fire safety tips

March 17, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Some seniors in the Chicago area got a life-saving lesson about fire safety Wednesday.

ABC7's Roz Varon joined the Chicago Fire Department at the North Center Senior Center on the City's Northwest Side. They showed residents how to work smoke detectors and shared tips on ways to escape a fire. It's part of ABC7's Operation Save-A-Life.
