Field Museum named in top 10 US bathrooms

August 2, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Chicago's Field Museum is famous for dinosaurs, mummies and other remnants from the past. Now, it's being praised for its bathrooms.

They've been rated among the ten best restrooms in America. The spacious facilities have clouds painted on the ceilings, with some sinks lighting up the water streams -- red for hot, and blue for cold.

Field Museum bathrooms are family friendly, with a private nursing room for moms and child-sized accommodations.

The restrooms are cleaned once an hour due to high traffic.

Online voting is now under way to determine the top rated bathrooms. The contest is sponsored by Cintas Corporation.
