February 15, 2012 (LAKE BARRINGTON, Ill.) (WLS) -- Police are searching for a woman who has been missing from her Lake Barrington home since Monday.
Maria Carlsen lives in unincorporated Lake Barrington. She is 5'4" and 115 pounds.
Carlsen's daughter last spoke with her on Monday.
Carlsen was supposed to leave for Florida on Tuesday. But, when a limo arrived at her home to pick her up, she was not there.
Carlsen's daughter says her bags were packed, but her mother's purse and car were missing.
The vehicle was later found at a JD's restaurant in unincorporated Wauconda, but Carlsen was nowhere to be found.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Department.
