Chicago Public Schools said last month that so-called pink slime was not in any of its school lunches.

Now, a report in the Chicago Tribune said the district isn't so sure that was the case.

Pink slime is that beef filler that's caught so much attention after an ABC News investigation.

CPS told the Tribune that beef patties served in cafeterias may have contained the chemically treated product.

The district has since ended its contract with the company that provided those patties.
