Torture commission concludes business

  

June 22, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- An Illinois commission which investigates alleged police torture cases has made its last batch of decisions before a June 30 deadline.

The Illinois Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission said it won't forward four claims to a Cook County judge. The commission was set up in the wake of allegations that a former Chicago police lieutenant and his subordinates tortured suspects.
