Amtrak locomotive burns on Near West Side

  

June 27, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Thick, black smoke billowed from the top of a locomotive at a rail yard on the city's Near West Side Wednesday afternoon.

The train is at a rail yard at Roosevelt and Canal and was not in service.

There are no reports of injuries.
