July 7, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A citywide memorial service was held Saturday for those who have lost relatives to gun violence.
The families of victims shared their stories at the memorial today on Chicago's South Side.
WVON aired a live broadcast from the service.
It was led by radio host Mark Wallace and the Rev. Michael Pfleger of the faith community of Saint Sabina.
Saturday's program was designed to raise awareness, search for solutions and show support to families dealing with the epidemic of gun violence.
