CTA job fairs upcoming -- transit authority hiring up to 400 part-time bus drivers

July 18, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- The CTA announced Wednesday it will be holding three job information fairs.

The fairs are intended to bring in as many as 400 part-time bus operators. They will operate shuttles for the Red Line south track renewal project.

Once hired, the operators will have a permanent position at CTA and remain with the company after the project ends.

The first fair will be held July 30 at Chicago State at 95th and King Drive.
