July 30, 2012 (WHEATON) (WLS) -- Pop sensation Cody Simpson put on a performance for fans in Chicago's west suburbs on Monday night.
Simpson went acoustic for some of hits at the Hallmark store in Wheaton.
He's in town to help promote a new product called Text Bands.
The devices allow kids to bump fists or shake hands to send text messages to each other through wristbands.
The first 500 fans wearing them got to meet the singer.
