August 25, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Chicago police say they have good leads on suspects possibly involved a drive-by shooting that wounded eight people Thursday night in the 7800-block of South Essex.
The suspects allegedly used their driver's licenses to check into the South Shore Motel after the shooting, according to a police source.
Eight people between the ages of 14 and 28 were wounded in the shooting.
Police say the incident involved two factions of the same gang that have been fighting for weeks.
