North Side business robberies reported; police issue alert

  

September 12, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Chicago police have issued an alert about a series of robberies on Chicago's North Side.

Authorities say the same man has robbed at least six businesses on North Clark and North Western. The robberies have taken place in the early morning hours.

Police say they have surveillance video in the case.

The first robbery happened in late July, and the most recent happened five days ago.
