Thousands walk for ALS

  

September 22, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Thousands of early-risers came out on what was a brisk autumnal morning along the lakefront for the annual Les Turner Foundation's ALS Walk.

Walkers proceeded around and finally through Soldier Field.

ABC7 meteorologist Phil Schwarz served as one of the event's hosts.
